Ursula A. von Rydingsvard

Loving wife, mother, daughter and dear friend Ursula von Rydingsvard, 53, of Chatham Township, NJ, passed on July, 26, 2022. A Celebration of Life Reception will be held Saturday, July 30, 2022, from 6pm to 9pm at McLoone's Boathouse, 9 Cherry Lane, West Orange, NJ 07052. A graveside service will be held at 10am on Sunday, July 31, 2022 at The Fairmount Cemetery, 233 Hillside Ave., Chatham, NJ 07928.

Born in Oakland, California, and raised in New York City, Ursula had lived in Chatham Township, NJ, since 2001. She was a graduate of the United Nation International School in New York City. Ursula received her bachelor's degree in Communications from Tulane University and her Masters in Journalism from New York University. Ursula's 30 year career in the news and video industry included positions as a producer with CNN in Atlanta and MSNBC in New York City. Later Ursula with her treasured partner, Billy Fitzgerald, started YouHere Productions in New York City. Ursula was an athlete throughout her life, including always being picked first before the boys for Phil's UNIS teams. She was a founding member of the Chatham Moms For Change, and the Empathy Project.

Ursula is survived by her loving husband Ray Greeve and three loving children, Natasha Greeve, Delfine Greeve and Emerson Greeve; and her mother, Ursula von Rydingsvard. Ursula was a beloved wife and mother and a pillar of strength for her family and friends. She touched many lives, strived to leave the world a better place and had much empathy for mankind.
