Utha Deloris (Swett) Furrow, born March 15,1933, to Morris Gilbert (Pat) Swett and Lillie Adel Cook near Endicott Nebraska passed away September 14, 2025. She grew up loving farm life in the Endicott area and attended Endicott Public School through High school.

She married Richard Furrow in September 1951. To this union 4 children were born, Ricke, Cindy, Thomas and Russell. They lived in Lincoln Nebraska, Merced California and Wichita Kansas, before returning to the Endicott area.

Work was a cornerstone of Utha's life, most importantly running a farm and raising livestock. She was in the Dairy business for a total of 30 years, also having several jobs including Russell Stovers candy, lallies Kellwood, Endicott Clay and Heritage Care Center. She did many volunteer activities including Endicott Woman's club, organizing and working the meal at the Endicott Lords Acre (until her health no longer allowed it), and the Jefferson County Art Guild.

Anyone who knew her recognized her glorious lack of a filter, and with that you also did not mention Politics, only to hear a lengthy expression of her opinions. Her memory was good up to the end, and she shared many wonderful stories.

She was preceded in death by her Parents, all her aunts and uncles, brothers and sisters in laws Gilbert Swett, Max (Norma Horak) Swett, Kennith (Velma Folkner) Swett, Dee Swett, Mike Lacey Shirley (Furrow) Lacey. Son Ricke Furrow. Nephews Pat Swett and Dan Swett. Niece Denise (Lacey) Stanton.

She is survived by daughter-in-law Christy (Kleveman) Furrow, daughter Cindy (Furrow) Rogers, Thomas (Marla Jurgens) Furrow and Russell Furrow, sister-in-law Marilyn (Grone) Swett. Many nieces and nephews,14 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren.

Services will be Saturday September 27, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Gerdes-Meyer Chapel in Fairbury with Darlene Novotny officiating. Gerdes-Meyer Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.
