Riverton, UT - Víctor Ferro, age 54, passed away on December 22, 2025, in Riverton, Utah, after a courageous battle with brain cancer. He was born on July 10, 1971, in Pinar del Río, Cuba, to Víctor Ferro Rodríguez and Esperanza González Hernández.

Víctor came to the United States from Cuba 25 years ago, in search of freedom and the American dream. Through hard work, dedication, and perseverance, he built a thriving construction business and was deeply respected and beloved by the people he worked with.

Víctor was a devoted husband to Yamile Gracia Romero and a loving father to his son, Jason Ferro. He was known as a very loving man, a hard worker, and a good friend to all who knew him.

While he enjoyed traveling and shooting, his greatest joy was spending time with his family-talking for hours with his son, sharing stories, and watching him practice and compete in Tae Kwon-do. Víctor was deeply proud of his baptism in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and faithfully attended church every week. He and Yamile were preparing to be sealed in the temple for time and all eternity, a hope that brought them great peace and faith.

He is survived by his wife, Yamile Gracia Romero, his son, Jason Ferro, his sister, Maribel Ferro, and his brother Guillermo Ferro. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother-in-law, Rubén Pérez. The family is grateful for the love, prayers, and support shown during this time. Víctor will always be remembered for his love, strength, faith, and gentle spirit.

Víctor Ferro, de 54 años, falleció el 22 de diciembre de 2025 en Riverton, Utah, después de una valiente lucha contra el cáncer cerebral. Nació el 10 de julio de 1971 en Pinar del Río, Cuba, hijo de Víctor Ferro Rodríguez y Esperanza González Hernández.

Víctor llegó a los Estados Unidos desde Cuba hace 25 años, buscando la libertad y el sueño americano. Con esfuerzo, dedicación y perseverancia, construyó un próspero negocio de construcción y fue muy querido y respetado por las personas con quienes trabajó.

Víctor fue un esposo devoto de Yamile Gracia Romero y un padre amoroso de su hijo, Jason Ferro. Era conocido como un hombre muy cariñoso, trabajador incansable y un buen amigo para todos los que lo conocieron.

Aunque disfrutaba viajar y practicar tiro, su mayor alegría era pasar tiempo con su familia-hablar durante horas con su hijo, compartir historias y verlo entrenar y competir en Tae Kwon-do.

Víctor se sentía profundamente orgulloso de su bautismo en La Iglesia de Jesucristo de los Santos de los Últimos Días y asistía fielmente a la iglesia cada semana. Él y Yamile se estaban preparando para sellarse en el templo por tiempo y por toda la eternidad, una esperanza que les brindaba gran paz y fe.

Le sobreviven su esposa, Yamile Gracia Romero, su hijo, Jason Ferro, su hermana, Maribel Ferro y su hermano, Guillermo Ferro. Le precedieron en muerte sus padres y su cuñado, Rubén Pérez. La familia agradece profundamente las muestras de amor, oraciones y apoyo recibidas. Siempre recordarán a Víctor por su amor, fortaleza, fe y espíritu bondadoso.
