Valencia A. Frech, lovingly known as Val, was born on January 7, 1952, in Butler, New Jersey, and she peacefully departed this world on May 9, 2025, in South Jordan, Utah.
Val's life was filled with simple pleasures and a creative spirit. She was a loving mother and cherished her role as a grandmother to Corbin Gadd, whose achievements and adventures brought her immeasurable joy. Val is survived by daughter Tanya Gadd (Jason) and sister Belinda Dunkle. Val was predeceased in death by her parents, Dorothy and Leonard Perfetti, and her sister Donna McGill.
The family extends heartfelt gratitude to the compassionate staff at Sandstone in Taylorsville, as well as the dedicated team at Legacy Nursing Home in South Jordan and Renew Hospice, whose care and support made Val's final days comfortable and filled with dignity.
A graveside service will be held May 16, 2025, at 1 pm. at Elysian Burial Gardens, located at 1075 E. 4580 S. Salt Lake City, UT. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the American Stroke Foundation. Services entrusted to Lindquist’s Bountiful Mortuary.
