Valeri Kaplan
Valeri Kaplan of Philadelphia, PA passed on September 8, 2023. Beloved husband of Faina Kaplan, devoted father of Igor (Ala) Kaplan and Irene (Bradley) Creveling. Cherished grandfather of Jeffrey Kaplan, Julie (Chris) Kaplan, Marina (Alexey) Fuzeev and Roman Hulis.
Born on May 20, 1939 in Bragin, Soviet Union to the late Anatoliy and Rosa Kaplan, brother to late Sophia Perelman. Valeri is also survived by his brother Michael Kaplan.
An amazing man, husband, father, and grandfather who loved dogs, pizza and beer, football and Philadelphia sport teams, a good book, his prized garden and a simple afternoon on his swing. And of course, his family. He will truly be missed.
Thank you to his Fox Chase cancer team, especially Dr. Daniel Geynisman, Dr. Alexander Kutikov, Dr. Mikhail Azrilevich and their extended support team of amazing nurses and staff. We are truly grateful for everything you provided for Valeri.
Relatives and friends are invited to services, Tuesday, September 12, 2023, at 1:00 PM, at Joseph Levine & Sons, 4737 E Street Road, Feasterville-Trevose, PA 19053. Chapel services may be viewed live at https://www.levinefuneral.com/trevose-webcam.html Interment to follow at Shalom Memorial Park.
Following burial, everyone is invited to Restaurant Gamarjoba, 13033 Bustleton Ave., Phila. 19116.
