Valeria "Val" Jean Laszkiewicz was born August 31, 1929 in Milwaukee. She lived a long and meaningful life defined by devotion to her family, quiet strength, and a joyful spirit. She was the heart of her family and took great pride in the generations she helped raise, always finding happiness in time spent together. Whether gathered around the table, sharing stories, or celebrating milestones big and small.
She especially enjoyed her outings to the casino, where she loved playing her favorite games and trying her luck, often with a smile and good story to tell afterward. More than anything, she cherished moments with her family, who brought her the greatest joy throughout her life.
Val was preceded in death by her husband of 70 years, Ray Laszkiewicz. She is survived by their children, Nancy (Rick) Lucas, Joyce (Jeff) Schuelke, Sue Szulczewski, and Joe (Denise) Laszkiewicz; grandchildren, Mindy (John) Powell, Kyle Schuelke, Paul Schuelke, Erik Schuelke, Steven (Amanda) Szulczewski, Laura (Joseph) Monty, Danny Laszkiewicz, Holly Laszkiewicz, Tommy Laszkiewicz, Bailee Ramon, Jakob Ramon, Chris (Carrie) Lucas; and great grandchildren; brothers/sisters in-laws: Paul (Kathy) Laszkiewicz, Louis (Audrey) Laszkiewicz, David Laszkiewicz, and Carol (Al) Reinhardt; as well as nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
The family would like to thank the staff at Serenity Villa, Marsha Hansen NP and Perceptor Hospice for the compassionate care they provided to Val.
