She was a devoted mother to her four children: Adam, Adrienne, Ashley, and Jennifer. Her love for them was unwavering and evident in every aspect of her life. Valerie also shared deep bonds with her family, including her father Cecil; siblings Michael, Tammy, and Melissa; and she carried cherished memories of her late mother Jeannie and brother Chris.
Valerie's presence was a source of comfort and joy. Whether through her ready laughter or thoughtful words, she had a unique ability to make others feel seen and valued. Her compassion extended far beyond her family-touching friends, neighbors, and countless others throughout her life.
Her legacy is one of grace and heartfelt connection. Valerie's memory will continue to inspire those who loved her to lead with empathy and live with purpose.
May the memory of Valerie Jean Copeland bring peace and comfort to all who were fortunate enough to know her. A Memorial Service will be held on September 30, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 01:00 PM at Williams Funeral Home 1600 S Garland Ave

I went to High School with Valerie in Duncanville. While we weren't close friends, I always thought she was so pretty and she was very nice to me. I hope she's found the peace I know she was looking for.
