Whitinsville- Valerie M. (Cichonski) Conlin, 92, formerly of Roy St., passed away Thurs. July 10, 2025 with her family by her side.

She is survived by her 2 children Patrick Conlin and his wife Kim of Northbridge and her daughter Leslie Sacko and her husband Al of Myrtle Beach, SC; 3 grandsons Kyle, Ryan and Tyler Conlin of Northbridge ; 3 sisters Cecilia Parker of Webster, Chesterline Dion of Whitinsville and Elizabeth "Betty" Lafosse of Whitinsville; and many nieces, nephews and good friends. She was predeceased by her former partners Robert "Ray" Everett and Fred Baker, and her former husband Terrance Conlin. She was sister of the late Joseph Sova, Blanche Beaudoin, Katherine Valis, and Stella Bailey. Born in Whtinsville, MA on August 20, 1932, she was the daughter of Andrew and Caroline (Kramarz) Cichonski and lived most of her life in Whitinsville. She also lived in San Diego 20 years.

Mrs. Conlin was employed as an executive secretary for the Whitin Machine Works, ATF Davidson and for the Northbridge public school system in the Special Ed Dept. She also worked for General Dynamics and owned and operated a landscaping company while in San Diego. She was a graduate of Northbridge High School. Val was a great athlete and active in sports, her favorite being basketball. She enjoyed attending musical events and helping the less fortunate. A great mom, she loved her family, especially her grandsons.

Her Funeral Home Service will be held Thurs. July 17th at 11am in Jackman Funeral Home, 12 Spring St. Calling hours will be held prior to her service from 9-11 am. Her burial will follow in St. Patrick's Cemetery. To leave a condolence message for her family, please visit Jackmanfuneralhomes.com
