   Valerie Precious Henley Elloinchi, 63, of Camden, NC, passed away Tuesday, August 12, 2025, in Laurel Park Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center, Elizabeth City.

   Mrs. Elloinchi was born in Brooklyn, NY on July 24, 1962, and was the daughter of the late Norman, Sr. and Mary Banks Henley. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sisters, Gloria Hopkins, Debra Henley, and Sheila Brown (husband, Carlton, deceased), and by brothers, Herman Banks and Norman Henley, Jr.

   Retired from the Air Force following 20 years of service, she later worked and retired as a dispatcher with Naval Air Station Oceana Police Department. A member of Camden Church of Christ, she was a member of a faith-based group Dunamis Covenant Institute, and became a disciple for Christ via Pastor Dee's Inner Circle.

   Surviving is her husband, Miezan Elloinchi; two sons, Adrian Green (wife, Glathia) of Las Vegas, NV and Ryan Green (wife, Irene) of New York, NY; a sister, Esther Scott (husband, Robert) of Danbury, CT, a sister-in-law, Sherry Banks of Richmond, VA; a brother-in-law, Eddie Hopkins of Baltimore, MD; five grandchildren, Daemon, Tenchi, Broly, Alexander, and Enias; and a host of nieces.

   A memorial service will be held at a later date.
