Valerie R. Jennings

Valerie (Foster) Jennings, well-known West Side Socialite, collector of understated sunglasses and everything leopard print, passed away on Friday, January 12, 2024, at the too-soon age of 51. 
The hard of hearing would say Valerie quietly went about her business.  Everyone else heard her coming a mile away.  But that boisterous nature did not overshadow a kind, caring, disposition that made her a welcome addition to any occasion.  And with Valerie around, the occasion quickly became a party! A dear friend of Valerie’s describes her energy this way: “Being with Valerie was a bit like standing near a fire.  Dazzling, warm, and beautiful, but also a little exciting and dangerous.”
Of all her passions, Valerie loved her family intensely that includes her son Foster, mother Donna, sister Lisa, and fiancé Joey Heyl.  That love even extended once in a great while to her step-father Danny Pettyjohn and brother-in-law George Vogel.  We all adored her and will miss her but take great comfort in knowing she and her late father, Hobert Foster Jr., are now competing against each other for attention in Heaven.
As we all know, Valerie was the life of the party, therefore a Celebration of Life is in order.  Family, friends and everyone whose lives she touched, are invited to a Celebration of Life Party on Saturday, January 27, 2024 from 1:00-4:00, Jim & Jack’s, 3456 River Road, Cincinnati, OH 45204.
