On Saturday, November 22, 2023 Valerie Sharlene Marshall of Brooklyn, MD passed away peacefully. Beloved wife of James Marshall and loving mother of Shavonne R. Shorter.

Family and friends are invited to gather at the River of Life Worship Center, 8232 Redmiles Lane, Odenton, MD 21112 on Wednesday, December 3, 2025 for a "Time of Remembrance" from 10:00 am till the start of the Celebration of Life Funeral Service at 11:00 am. Her Graveside Service and Interment will follow at Saint's Rest Cemetery, Hanover, MD.
Arrangements were handled by the Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, PA, Glen Burnie, MD 21061.
