Valle Vasse Obituary
Dryden - Valle J. Vasse, age 72 passed away on August 26, 2025 at Cayuga Medical Center after a long illness. She was predeceased by her parents, John and Berta Vasse. She is survived by her brother Greg Vasse (married to Mary) of New London, NH; nephew GJ Vasse ( married to Alisha) of Wilton, CT; nieces Dr. Aimee Vasse (married to Tim Layland) of Carlsbad, CA; Jonnifer Moorhead (married to John) of Chapel Hill, NC; three grand nephews and two grand nieces. Valle was born in Ithaca on December 30, 1952 and spent several years in the San Francisco Bay area before returning to Tompkins County and acquiring Dryden Wine and Spirits in 1995. Her ownership of the business she loved spanned 29 years. A graveside service at East Lawn Cemetery for close friends and family will take place at 1:00 PM on September 5, 2025. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donation in her memory be made to the American Cancer Society.
