Van D. Yetter

Van Daniel Yetter, 84, of Marshalls Creek, passed away Wednesday morning, March 25, 2026 while under hospice care in his home. He was the husband of the late Catherine "Kate" (Smith) Yetter with whom he shared 53 years of marriage at the time of her death on April 8, 2022.

Born on March 9, 1942 in East Stroudsburg, he was a son of the late Van Diehl and Katherine (Froelich) Yetter and was a lifelong resident of Monroe County.

He owned and operated the family business, Yetter Trailer Park for many years and was an avid collector of baseball memorabilia.

Surviving are a son, Van D. Yetter, Jr. and wife Eileen of Marshalls Creek; a granddaughter, Sofia; three siblings, John Yetter of East Stroudsburg, Ann Rosenberg of Philadelphia and Jean Yetter of East Stroudsburg; and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be held on Wednesday, April 8th at the William H. Clark Funeral Home, 1003 Main Street, Stroudsburg with visitation beginning at 10:00am followed by the funeral service at 11:00am with Rev. Gregory Reichlen officiating. Burial will follow at Sand Hill Cemetery.
