Vance Wiggins Obituary

Vance was employed by Wiggins Construction. He worked on many commercial and industrial construction projects from Florida to Washington, DC. His legendary work effort constructed, maintained and renovated many buildings in Union and Mecklenburg County. He developed long standing relationships that survived him. To know Vance was to experience real ingenuity, absolute integrity and heartfelt charisma. Vance enjoyed riding motorcycles which was secondary to his love of his work. His joy for life and smile will be missed by many.
Vance is survived by his children Lori Wiggins (husband Donald Helms) of Waynesville, North Carolina, Michael Wiggins of Monroe, North Carolina, and granddaughter Tristyn Wiggins of Asheville, North Carolina. He is survived by his brothers, Clarence Wiggins of Bryson City, North Carolina, and Blake Wiggins (wife, Wanda), of Monroe, North Carolina, and his sister, Ruth Roberts (husband, Tom), of Monroe, North Carolina.
There will be a celebration of life held December 7, 2025 from 2:00 to 4:00 at Why Not an American Ark in Monroe, North Carolina. Service information will be announced when available.
