Vance Wiggins Obituary
Vance was employed by Wiggins Construction. He worked on many commercial and industrial construction projects from Florida to Washington, DC. His legendary work effort constructed, maintained and renovated many buildings in Union and Mecklenburg County. He developed long standing relationships that survived him. To know Vance was to experience real ingenuity, absolute integrity and heartfelt charisma. Vance enjoyed riding motorcycles which was secondary to his love of his work. His joy for life and smile will be missed by many.
Vance is survived by his children, Lori (Donald Helms) Wiggins of Waynesville and Michael Wiggins of Monroe; granddaughter, Tristyn Wiggins of Asheville; brothers, Clarence Wiggins of Bryson City and Blake (Wanda) Wiggins, of Monroe; and sister, Ruth (Tom) Roberts of Monroe.
There will be a celebration of life held Sunday, Dec. 7, from 2 to 4 p.m., at 1106 Charlie Williams Road, Monroe, North Carolina.
Smoky Mountain Funeral Service Crematory is caring for the Wiggins family. An online register is available at smokymountaincremations.com.
