Vanessa Gayle Clark, a devoted daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on October 24, 2025, surrounded by her loving family after a courageous battle with breast cancer.

Born and raised on October 4th, 1956 in Claremont, New Hampshire, to William (Willie) and Reigh (Howard) Yurek, Vanessa faced life with resilience, grace, and an unshakable spirit. A proud graduate of Stevens High School, Class of 1974, Vanessa spent a short time in California before returning to Claremont, where she began her family. Loving the warmer climate, she and her family later moved to Sebastian, Florida, twenty-five years ago, where she built a warm and loving life filled with laughter, music, and close friendships. She enjoyed the soulful sounds of B.B. King and Santana and cherished time spent with her family above all. Her grandchildren were the light of her life.

Vanessa dedicated her lifelong career to customer service, where her compassion and kindness touched countless lives. At home, she poured her heart into her greatest role - caring for her husband and two sons. Managing a household was more than a full-time job, and she did it with unwavering love, patience, and devotion. Vanessa and her beloved husband just celebrated their 47th anniversary on October 14th.

In 2012, she bravely overcame breast cancer, continuing to live life to the fullest for more than a decade. Her strength, optimism, and love for her family inspired everyone who knew her.

She is survived by her mother, Reigh (Howard) Yurek of Ascutney, VT; her loving husband, Deane Clark; her sons, Spenser Clark and Corey Clark and daughters in law Bruna Clark and Amanda Dixon of Vero Beach, FL. She also leaves behind her beloved grandchildren, Isabella and Benjamin; her brother, Kevin Yurek, and his son, Zack Yurek; her nephew, Maxwell Askew; and many other relatives and dear friends who will forever hold her memory close. She was predeceased by her father in 2004, and her sister, Kimberly (Yurek) Askew in 2005.

Vanessa will be remembered for her warmth, humor, strength, and the deep love she shared with everyone in her life. Her legacy lives on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.

In accordance with her wishes, no formal service will be held. In lieu of a service, the family kindly requests that anyone wishing to show their love and support at this time consider making a donation to the Visiting Nurse Association (VNA) of Vero Beach, Florida, whose compassionate care and dedication brought great comfort during this difficult time.
