Vanessa Roberts Gerrin

Mrs. Vanessa Roberts Gerrin, age 56, of Aragon, GA, passed away on Monday, October 21, 2024.
Mrs. Gerrin was born in Marietta, GA, on March 8, 1968, daughter of the late David Franklin Roberts and the late Beverly Jean Minton Roberts. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Marla Darlene Carter. Mrs. Gerrin was a graduate of Calvary Christian Academy. She loved her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, above all else and was of the Pentecostal faith.
Mrs. Gerrin was a lover who never met a stranger. She would talk to any and every one that would listen. Mrs. Gerrin accepted everyone as they were and had unofficially adopted many of her children's friends, making sure they knew her home was theirs. She enjoyed Thomas Kincaid art and loved taking pictures and videos of her own. Mrs. Gerrin was an expert collage maker on her Ipad, but her true love on this side of Heaven was her grandchildren. She is now rejoicing in the presence of her Heavenly Father for eternity.
Survivors include her husband, Jeff Gerrin, Aragon; 4 children, Mark DeWayne Carter, II (Elizabeth), Michael Darren Carter (Bridget), Ashley Gerrin, and Will Gerrin (Marlana); 11 grandchildren, Penelope, Shepherd, Amelya, Cora, Ezra, Issa, Maddie, Bella, Jayce, Austin, and Lilah; sister, Davinna Reeves (Jason); sister-in-law and caregiver, Dawn Jenkins; brother-in-law, Tommy Gerrin (Elaine); special niece, MacKenzie Reeves; numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 4pm on Sunday, October 27, 2024, in the Chapel at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, South Chapel, with the Rev. Buddy Carter officiating. Interment will follow in Morning View Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 2pm until service time on Sunday at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, South Chapel.
Pallbearers are to assemble by 3:30pm on Sunday at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, South Chapel, and include: Active, DeWayne Carter, Darren Carter, Jeremy Moore, Cody Thompson, Terry Lively, Tom McGraw, Andy Savala, and Jason Reeves; Honorary, Aaron Wilson and Will Gerrin.
