Vanessa Gail McCrimager

In Loving Memory of Vanessa McCrimager February 10, 1956 – April 7, 2025
Vanessa McCrimager was born on February 10, 1956, the youngest of 13 children born to Beatrice McCrimager (1927–1959). After the passing of her mother, Vanessa and her younger siblings spent time living in Jacksonville, Florida. She later moved from Buffalo, New York, and eventually bought a home in Jacksonville, where she raised her seven children.
She loved simple joys-visiting the flea market, going to garage sales, and exploring the city. She had a special love for traveling and especially enjoyed riding golf carts through St. Augustine with her loved ones. She also enjoyed dressing up for the holidays, long car rides, and sharing meals with her family. Nearly every day, she would walk from her house to her daughter's home just to spend time together, eat good food, or take the grandkids on little adventures.
Vanessa had a warm, kind heart and an adventurous spirit. She brought joy to every room and cherished time with her family. She loved fashion, laughter, and dancing-and was always the life of every gathering.
Eventually, she began visiting less often, and we later learned she was quietly facing serious health challenges. Though her strength carried her for many years, her life was sadly cut short far too soon and will be deeply missed.
A Celebration of Vanessa's life will be held on Thursday, April 17, 2025 at 2:00 pm at Beaches Memorial Park Chapel with Pastor Seth Lederman officiating. Interment will follow at Beaches Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm in the chapel. The arrangements are under the care and direction of V.
