VASILIOS KOUTSOS

KOUTSOS, Vasilios A., 87, of Henrico, Va., passed away January 29, 2013. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Ange P. Koutsos; son, Athanasios P. Koutsos and his fiance‚, Vivi Liami; two sisters-in-grief, five nieces and one nephew. Mr. Koutsos was an outstanding member of Sts. Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church and the community. He was the president of the church in 1988, a member of Pan Arcadians and Ahepa. He was the owner of Bill's Drycleaners on West Cary Street from 1967 to 1998 when he officially retired. He loved to tell jokes and being around people, especially his closest friends and family. He dearly loved his wife, son and future daughter-in-law and the people of the church and community. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday with a Trisagion prayer service at 7:30 p.m. at Bliley's - Central, 3801 Augusta Ave. A funeral will be held 11 a.m. Friday at Sts. Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church, followed by interment in Westhampton Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Greek Orthodox Cathedral, the American Heart Association, or the American Cancer Society.
