Vaughn Arthur Savage, 56, of Marlette, passed away on Monday, September 8, 2025.

Vaughn was born on August 4, 1969 in Pontiac, Michigan to Michael and Linda (Wilcox) Savage. He attended Marlette High School and graduated with the Class of 1988. Vaughn was a man who truly loved the outdoors and embraced life's simple joys. Whether he was playing pool, fishing, riding his bike, or setting up camp under the stars, he found peace and happiness in nature. While camping, Vaughn could be found sitting around the fire enjoying time with family and friends. Vaughn was deeply devoted to his family and always ready to lend a hand, willing to do anything for the ones he loved. As a lifelong fan of University of Michigan Football, he proudly cheered on the Wolverines and was well known for his enthusiastic "Go Blue!"

Vaughn is survived by his children, Amber (Tim) McComas, Crystal (Ashton Workman) Savage; grandchildren, Amelia, Susan, Roman; several siblings, nieces, and nephews; his father, Michael Savage; and the mother of his children, Karen King.

Vaughn was preceded in death by his son, Vaughn Savage II; granddaughter, JoAnna; and his mother, Linda Savage.

Per Vaughn's wishes, cremation has taken place.
