Obituary published on Legacy.com by Holloway Funeral Home - Salisbury on Feb. 6, 2026.
Vaughn "Ronnie" Williams, a man of exceptional kindness, boundless humor, and fervent passion, left this world peacefully on January 31, 2026, at the age of 83. Born on July 30, 1942, in
Hazard, KY, Vaughn lived a life that was as vibrant and dynamic as the era into which he was born.
Vaughn's early years were filled with the simple joys of farm life, in Menifee County, KY. Vaughn later moved to
Middleton, OH. After answering the call of duty, Vaughn served with honor and distinction as an Army veteran, a period of his life that shaped him in profound ways and instilled in him a deep sense of patriotism and service. It was while he was stationed in Maryland that he met his future wife Faye, where they would eventually call Maryland home.
Upon returning to civilian life, Vaughn's infectious laugh and affable nature made him a beloved figure in every circle he entered. Vaughn's career was as varied as his interests, but no matter where he worked, he left an indelible mark on his colleagues and friends, always willing to lend a helping hand or share a word of encouragement.
Vaughn's personal life was anchored by his beloved wife, Faye Williams, with whom he shared an enduring love that was the envy of all who knew them. Together, they navigated the waters of life with grace and humor, their bond only strengthening with each passing year. He is survived by his beloved wife Faye Williams, his daughter Sandy Morris , sisters Linda Williams- May, Patty Clemons and Ann Elam and a brother in law Calvin Travers. He is predeceased by his parents Charles and Beulah Willams, a brother Wallace Williams and his sister Charlene Huntsbarger
Vaughn was more than just a neighbor; he was an integral thread in the fabric of daily life. He took great pride in him and his wife's home and manicured lawn. He loved his Ford Ranger pick up and taking rides to enjoy the wonderful landscape. Vaughn's passion for service was matched only by his passion for life itself. He approached every day with a zest that was contagious, a reminder to us all that life is to be lived fully and with joy.
Those who knew Vaughn will remember him as a kind-hearted man who never missed an opportunity to make someone smile. He was the embodiment of passion, whether he was sharing stories of his youth, supporting his friends, or simply enjoying the beauty of the world around him.
As we bid farewell to Vaughn Williams, we do so with hearts full of gratitude for having been touched by such a remarkable soul. He has left us with countless cherished memories and a blueprint for how to live life with an open heart. Vaughn's journey may have come to an end at John's Hopkins Hospital in
Baltimore, Maryland, but the ripples of his life's impact will continue to spread, touching lives for generations to come. We honor his memory by living as he did-with kindness, humor, and passion. Vaughn, you will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.
