Velma Gibson Obituary
Velma Gibson, 93, of Otisco, IN passed away on Sunday, June 22, 2025 at Charlestown Place at New Albany.
Velma was born on November 24, 1931, Bath Co Kentucky to Bobbie and Dora Gibson. Velma always worked in the retail department fashion business. Her passion was gardening, and working in her flower beds. She also loved to craft and make handmade flowers.
She is survived by her sisters, Ollie Miller of Sellersburg, Vernell Mullins of Whitesburg, KY and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be at Grayson Funeral Home, 893 High Street, Charlestown on Thursday, June 26 from 4:00 to 8:00 pm and again on Friday from 9:00 to 10:00 am with her service at 10:00 am in the chapel of the funeral home. Burial will follow in Mt. Moriah Cemetery.
