Velma Christine Porter

Velma Christine Porter, 88, of Lewisville, passed away on August 1, 2022 in Lewisville, TX. Velma was born in Nashville, Arkansas to Rueben & Addie McCullough on September 6, 1933. She went to night school in '72 and gained the title of Accountant; after a lot of hard work was given the title of Comptroller. She went to work in 1972 for Becton Dickinson & Co. where she retired in 1992. She was very well respected throughout Becton Dickinson and by her colleagues in the field.

Velma Porter is survived by Daughters: Donna Fulton, Nashville, TN; Dava Cox, Lewisville, TX; and Dawn Vance, Lewisville, TX; 9 Grandchildren: Callye, Charlie, Adam, Phil, Jessica, Robin, Cheyenne, Jake, and Samantha; 14 Great Grandchildren: Dylan, Austin, Alec, Chandler, Blaine, Hunter, Blane, Brodie, Gavin, Bristol, Willow, Cody, Kaden, and Jace; and several Nieces and Nephews
Her family meant the world to her --- she loved each and every one very much.
