Charlene attended both Liberty Baptist Church of Shawnee and Living Word Church of Shawnee, where she was regularly active with the food and clothing ministries of the church. She will be most remembered as a loving daughter, wife, mother, and grandmother and will be missed by many for her warm smile and friendly disposition.
She is preceded in death by both her father Tillman Smith and her mother, Sarah Opal Smith; a sister, Elizabeth (Smith) Chastain, a grandson, PFC Logan White; and by husbands James Taylor and Lew White.
