Vera M. Teears

Vera Teears (nee Mellish) passed away on April 10, 2025, age 93, of Cherry Hill, beloved wife of the late Norman K. Teears. She has been a doting Grandmom to Brian, Kyle, Joel, Jordyn and Dylan, great Grandmom to Dov, Louisa and Johnthan, mother-in-law to Diane and Jill, brother, Jerry, and loving aunt to Karen & Bethany Paige. She was preceded in death by her sons David and Donald, sister, Aldine Serpineto, and brother, John.

Vera is survived by Daniel Mark (Jessica) of Cherry Hill.

Vera found joy in preparing delicious meals for her family and friends, drinking black coffee and tending her yard and garden.

As remembered by a grandson, she was a warrior in the garden not a gardener in a war. She also enjoyed ceramics and was a sharp shooter with a rifle. Her Ukrainian heritage ran deep in her veins. She was a longtime member of Bethel Baptist Church.

Her eyesight may have dimmed over the years but her smile and encouragement to others never faded.

Friends and family are invited to attend her funeral service on Friday, April 18th 2025 at 10:00 a.m at the DuBois Funeral Home, 700 S White Horse Pike , Audubon , NJ , 08106.
