Verbon Knops Obituary
Verbon is survived by his nephew, Bobby (Michelle) Allen and many other nieces and nephews.
Verbon is preceded in death by his parents, Wiley Knops Sr. and Helen Hurt Hubbard; siblings, Ronald Reese, David Knops, Jock Reese, Frieda Greathouse, Wiley Knops Jr., and Harvey Reese Jr.
Verbon contributed over a decade of exceptional service to DSI, where his work ethic and commitment were recognized and valued. Beyond his vocational pursuits, Verbon was an avid participant in the Special Olympics, serving as an inspiration to fellow athletes and supporters.
Verbon's involvement with Beyond Barriers, a charitable campaign through DSI, showed his passion for advocacy and his drive to help others overcome challenges.
Following the family's wishes cremation will take place
A memorial graveside service will be held at a later date at Garland Brook Cemetery where Verbon will be laid to rest next to his late mother.
