Verda Baker Obituary
She is preceded in death by her son, Johnny Baker.
Verda is survived by her husband of 59 years, Carl Baker; daughter, Carlene Laird of Elkins; five grandchildren, two great grandchildren; and three sisters, Carolyn Jewell of Elkins, Linda Laizure of Brentwood, and Roberta Edwards of Elkins.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, January 3, 2026, at Buckner Baptist Church in Fayetteville. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., Saturday, January 3, 2026, at Buckner Baptist Church. Burial will follow the service at Temple Hill Cemetery in Winslow, Arkansas.
