Verlene Murphy Bowlin

Mrs. Verlene Murphy Bowlin, 93, of Abilene,TX and formerly of Snyder, TX, died on Thursday, April 27, 2023, at Wesley Courts in Abilene, Texas.
A funeral service for Mrs. Bowlin will be held on Monday, May 1, 2023, at 2:00 PM at Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home with Pastor David Cason officiating. Internment will follow at Hillside Memorial Gardens. Services are under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.
Mrs. Bowlin was born on June 4, 1929, in Bronson, TX to William and Everlene (Adkins) Carter. She had three loves in her lifetime, all of whom preceded her in death: Raymond Murphy Sr., Luther Bedwell, and William Bowlin. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Snyder for 56 years and then belonged to Broadview Baptist Church in Abilene for 14 years. She leaves us with parting words, "My life has been blessed, God is so good! Love one another, as I have loved you."

Wanda Murphy Taylor and husband Don,
Ramona Rae Murphy Dillin;
1 Son,
John H. Murphy and wife Monique;
12 Grandchildren,
14 Great Grandchildren,
5 Great Great Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her
Parents, William and Everlene Carter,
1 son, Raymond Murphy Jr;
3 husbands, Raymond Murphy Sr, Luther Bedwell, and William Bowlin,
2 brothers and 3 sisters.
Visitation will be held Sunday, April 30, 2023 from 4 PM to 5 PM at Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.
