Verlin Crawford

Verlin M. Crawford, age 92, went to be with our Lord on November 4th, 2025. He was born in Greenback, TN, on December 11, 1932, during the height of the Great Depression. He graduated from high school in 1951and worked many jobs. He finally found his love, driving a truck. He was a long-haul driver for over 30 years, while having a perfect driving record, a true testament to the profession. During those years, he logged in over 3 million miles, from border-to-border and coast-to-coast, and loving every minute of it too.
He was married to Anna Lou Conover-Crawford for 50 years. They had 3 beautiful children, Laura Crawford, Kim Skaggs, and Charles (Chuck) Crawford. He is preceded in death by his wife, Ann, his daughter, Kim, and his granddaughter, Austin Burkhart. He leaves behind his oldest daughter, Laura, and his son, Chuck. He also leaves behind 3 granddaughters and 2 grandsons. He also has 6 great-grandchildren.
Verlin never met a stranger; they were just friends he had yet to meet. He was always kind and gentle to anyone and everyone he met. He is going to be greatly missed. He is leaving a big hole in the hearts of those who loved him.
