Vern E. "Skip" Enders III

Vern E. "Skip" Enders, III, 80, of Dyersburg, formerly of Watervliet, MI, died Monday, August 19, 2024, at his residence. Born April 1, 1944, he was the son of the late Vern Everette Enders, Jr. and Helen Elizabeth Barnes Enders. Mr. Enders proudly served his country in the United States Navy during the Vietnam Era. He was a member of the American Legion Post 568 in Stevensville, MI. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Rose Enders; three daughters, Barbara Antrim of Hoxie, AR, Julie Hotchkiss (David) of Bull Shoals, AR, Diane Parmer of Dyersburg; one sister, Susan E. Hoffman of Benton, Harbor, MI; one brother, Terry Enders, Sr., (Ann Marie) of Stevensville, MI; eleven grandchildren; and thirteen great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandson, Anthony Hotchkiss and his great granddaughter, Braylee Stewart. Private graveside services will be announced at a later date.
