Graveside funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, October 16, 2025, at Dyer County Memorial Gardens. Family and friends are asked to gather at the cemetery at 9:45 a.m. Per his request, there will not be a visitation. He is survived by his sister, Lela Hartsfield of Dyersburg.
The family truly appreciates his caregivers, Crystal and Corey Musser and Hospice of West Tennessee for their kind and excellent care given to Joe. He was preceded in death by his wife, Judy Scobey Lemons and three brothers, Wayne Lemons, Roger Lemons and Albert Lemons.
