The Ramberg family, who lived down the street from your family for years, extends their condolences to the entire Walker family. Verna was a wonderful neighbor with a sweet personality and lovely smile! To me, her white hair was ever so striking! A few years ago, I had the opportunity to chat with her on a drive through the neighborhood. What an absolute honey!

Being the youngest of the Ramberg girls, I remember very well, that giant black Poodle--he chased me from your house to mine, yikes! Verna was a fantastic woman and will be missed by all who were fortunate enough to have known her.

Verna Mae was a wonderful human being. I always felt as though she was like a second mother to me as I was growing up and truly anyone would have been proud to have her as a mother figure in their life. I will never forget the fact that she always had such a beautiful smile that was contagious to everyone around her. Everyone was welcome into her world…she made the world a better place. She will be greatly missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family during this time of sadness.

Not only was Verna my dear sister-in law she was my dearest friend. I shall miss her terribly, her delightful welcome, her open arms, her wellingness to listen and be a part of our lives. Condolences to the immediate family.

Verna was a great person and I am glad I had the opportunity to know her. I was also lucky enough to talk with her on Sunday two weeks ago at the nursing home about her family and life and what a full one she had led. She felt very blessed and so do I because I knew her. Melissa

A lovely lady; a beautiful smile which she used constantly; a sweet Christian personality. And she loved music! Our loss; heaven's gain.
