Verna Lee Wand, 76, of Indianapolis, passed away on January 28, 2025. She was born on January 6, 1949 in St. Louis, Missouri.
She was a member of Good Shepherd Catholic Church.
She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, crocheting and other crafts, and playing cards with her family. She also spend many years doing various volunteer activities through her church.
She is survived by her children, Catherine Wiser, Jennifer Terrell, Cyndi Blank, Jeff Blank and Christopher Blank; 21 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; sister, Carol Domogalik; and brother, John Walker.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Orville Ramsey and Betty Walker; husband, Richard E. Wand; her daughter, Justine Rahman; and brother, Richard Walker.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 am - until the service time at 1:00 pm Tuesday, February 4, 2025 at G. H. Herrmann Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 5141 Madison Avenue, Indianapolis, IN. She will be laid to rest at Washington Park East Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Indianapolis Humane Society.
