To the Family of Mrs. Vernice Scott,

There are few words that can truly capture the light and love that Mrs. Scott brought into our lives. She was a beautiful soul - graceful, kind, and nurturing in every way. To many of us, she wasn´t just a friend or a neighbor - she was like a mother. Every time we visited her home, she made sure we felt welcomed, comfortable, and without fail, fed. She had a special way of making you feel seen, cared for, and deeply loved.

She and Mr. Scott extended that same warmth and generosity to my daughter, watching over her while she attends college just ten minutes away. Knowing she was so close to such a loving and supportive presence brought us comfort and peace that words can't fully express.

We already miss her dearly - her radiant smile, her comforting presence, and her unique, unforgettable laughter that filled the room and lifted hearts. Mrs. Scott leaves behind a legacy of love, generosity, and warmth that will live on in all of us.

With deepest sympathy and endless gratitude,
Nyree Harvey and Family

My godmother is/was the epitome of the sweetest person I know. I was quite content with the peacefulness I saw in her eyes before her demise. Not to mention, I gave her a concert of her favorite artist that her n I will never forget. With that being said, rest well godmother, other mother, confidante and friend. Know that I love you with all my heart n I will always cherish our relationship and how it grew when I moved here. I love you

Nicey will surely be missed. She was such a wonderful friend, mother and wife. We didn´t stay in touch often but she was always in my heart. Sometimes we would stop by and see her and John on our way home from ATL and it was like we saw each other everyday. I thank the Lord she is resting in the arms of Jesus. I pray Jesus will wrap his arms around John, Scoobie & Summer to give them comfort & peace. In Jesus name
