Vernon McCloe

Vernon McCloe Jr., affectionately known as "Junior," passed away at the age of 79 at the Hampton House Rehabilitation & Nursing Center. Born on July 23, 1944, to the late Vernon McCloe Sr. and Ida Mae McCloe. Vernon attended GAR High School and cherished collecting VHS tapes, DVDs, CDs, and cassette tapes. He was passionate about electronics, music, and western movies. A former member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Vernon was predeceased by his wife, Cindy McCloe, his brother Arlington McCloe, and two sisters, Beverly Golden and Elizabeth Anderson. He is survived by two brothers, Everett and Maurice McCloe, and six sisters, Arlene McClure, Brenda Seabrook, Gloria (JD) Watson, Linda (Charles) Gilliom, Carol (Will) Golden, and Valerie McCloe and a host of nieces and nephews.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family, and the family suggests donations to a charity of choice in his memory.
Services have been entrusted to Kniffen O'Malley Leffler Funeral & Cremation Services, Wilkes-Barre.
