Vern was a dear friend when we were in high school in Manilla, IA. Since that time our paths crossed now and then in what was always a memorable time. He was as kind as anyone I have known and treated people with dignity and respect. I even now long for his deadpan humor as well. You were unique, dear friend, and will be greatly missed.

Vern was a great Amigo. We knew from day one we were destined to be great friends. We understood each other and had a deep affection for each other. He was a grand guy and I was honored to be his friend. I won´t say goodbye just so long for now, and we will meet again some sunny day.

So sorry for your loss. I will always treasure the memories that I share with the whole Reding family. So grateful that I was included in the "Reding" family Alaska trip and became better acquainted with Vernon and Chris at that time. May God bless you all at this time.
