Vernon Wright Obituary
Vernon was born on December 10, 1940, in Bremerton, Washington. He attended South Kitsap High School and later married. Vernon joined the United States Air Force, which took him to England and Great Falls, Montana, where he began raising a family.
After his time in the service, he returned to Washington State and worked for Boeing and Kenworth. He spent many years driving trucks over the road. Vernon also pursued numerous business ventures including a bar, car lot, body shop, and a convenience store. He especially loved being his own boss and valued the independence that came with entrepreneurship.
Vern was preceded in death by: parents, Virgil James Wright and Hazel Eileen Ward Wright.
Survivors include: daughters, Nina (Kert) Williams and Tina (Mark) Lawson; sons, Virgil (Jessica) Wright and Vincent (Florence) Wright; grandchildren, Lacey (Justin) Anderson, Shaina (Christopher) Jones, Ashley Mase, James Stauffer, Sincerity Wright and Maria Prescott; and great-grandchildren, Brayden, Brynna, Braylee, Gus, Charlotte, Wyatt, Liam, Arabella and Jaxson.
Memorial contributions are suggested to: Alzheimer's Research- Lets help find a cure to end this terrible disease.
Interment will take place at Leavenworth National Cemetery at a later date.
