Veronica Faye "Ronnie" Boyd, 63, of Benton Harbor, departed this life unexpectedly on Aug.12, 2025 surrounded by her family.
On Wednesday, May 30,1962, in Detroit, MI., Veronica was born to the late Tom and Mary Boyd.
Ronnie found faith and love for her one and only savior Jesus Christ at an early age and was a member of Bethlehem Temple moving on to the Word of Truth under the leadership of Pastor James Hightower.
She attended BHAS. She received her certification in nursing assistant. Ronnie worked in her younger life as a caregiver and secretary. She spent her last years as an Activity Coordinator at MI-Journey Drop-In Center.
Ronnie enjoyed cooking, singing, decorating, listening to music, dancing and is well known for being "STYLISH". Her love for her family is unconditional, selfless, nurturing, strong and gentle. There were no limits. Life will not be the same without her.
Ronnie leaves to cherish the days with her Children: Billy Boyd, Shanicka Boyd and Mary Boyd-Bailey; Siblings: Thornton Looney Jr, Shirley Looney, Linda Looney, Sylvester Boyd, Laverne Boyd-Broyles and Gregory Boyd ;Fiancé, Leslie Thomas; Grandchildren: Marquis Jett, Jaynescia Wilson, McKenzie White, Billy Boyd Jr, India Buford, Jaden, Jamon, Ivy, Zoey, Chase, Kali, Latrell, Christian, Latravious and Latravion Boyd, Amir, Iria and Marquell Reid, BeYonce' and Kuron Roseburgh and Ezra Shaw Jr; 27 Great-grandchildren, family and friends.
Special friends; Janice McClinton, Eveyln Jones and ZaQyua Traylor; Special cousin Mary Lynn.
