Veronica Jean Browning, a cherished beacon of love and creativity, passed away peacefully on March 3, 2025, in her hometown of Greenville, SC, where she was also born on October 28, 1958. Known affectionately as Veronica to her friends and family, she lived a life marked by devotion to her loved ones and a passion for the beauty in the world around her.

Veronica's life was one of service and dedication to her family. She was a beloved wife to Bobby Stewart, with whom she shared the joys and challenges of life. Veronica was the loving  mother to daughters Christy Turner and Sandy Emery, married to Jeremy. She was the adoring grandmother to Destiny Lynn, Taylor Madison, and Scarlett Moore. Although she was predeceased by her grandchildren Carter Landon and Ally Lacie, their memories remain a treasured part of her family's history.

Veronica was the sister of David Slatton and the late Chloe Smith and Shirley King. She was also the cherished daughter of the late Joanne Miller and William Holden. Her extended family included her caring nieces and nephews Stephan Smith, Mitchell, and Zach Slatton, who will miss her deeply. Each family member was touched by Veronica's loving nature. As the family came to visit Veronica they knew to bring a BC powder and a Dr. Pepper. Veronica will be missed by her loving dog, Baby Girl.
