Veronica Cunningham, 96, of Middletown, New Jersey, passed away on Friday, August 1, 2025, at Jersey Shore University Hospital in Neptune. She was born Veronica Burke on October 1, 1928, in Bronx, New York, where she grew up. After marriage, Veronica and her beloved husband, Frank, settled in Hazlet, New Jersey, where they remained to raise their family. Later, they retired to Port St. Lucie, Florida, and approximately 20 years ago, Veronica returned to New Jersey, settling in Middletown.

She was predeceased by her parents, her beloved husband, Frank Cunningham, her son, Raymond Cunningham, and her daughter, Margaret Cunningham Daniels. Veronica is survived by her loving son, Daniel Cunningham and his wife, Jacquelyn, of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, along with five cherished grandchildren and three treasured great grandchildren. Veronica will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.

Arrangements were entrusted to Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 3269 State Highway/Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730.
