Her Legacy Veronica Freeman, 95, passed away July 20, 2024. She was born on June 6, 1929, in Marsteller, Pennsylvania to Michael Bohinsky and Catherine (Wodjyds) Bohinsky. Veronica married the love of her life, Charles Freeman, on October 16, 1948, in Marsteller, Pennsylvania. She will be remembered for her Sunday and holidays meals that she loved to make for her family. Veronica loved to cook, bake, can fruits, vegetables and make homemade jellies. She volunteered her time alongside her daughter to coach softball and basketball for her church and school. She worked for many years as an inspector at Sterling Stamping Co. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Her Family Veronica will be missed by her children, Deborah (Brad) Anderson, Sandra Cotter, Michael (Lori) Freeman; grandchildren, Tammy, Mark, Monica, Adam, Jamie, Nichole, James, Timothy; great grandchildren, Rob, Aidan, Abby, Rylie, Evelyn, Preston, Zack,, Joey, Ryan, Olivia, Sophia; great-great grandchild, Kylee; many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Freeman and her seven siblings.
Her Farewell Veronica's family and friends will gather 2:00-7:00 PM, Tuesday, July 23, 2024 at Borek Jennings Funeral Home, Howell Memorial Chapel in Howell, Michigan. Her Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2:00 PM (1:00PM Gathering) on Wednesday, July 24, 2024 St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Howell. Father Francis George will serve as Celebrant.
