It is with a heavy heart that I share the passing of our beloved sister, Veronica Gonzalez-Rios, on July 29, 2025. Born on December 5, 1969, Veronica was not only a sister but our best friend and confidant. Growing up, we all shared countless adventures, from late night talks to being each other backbone when needed. Veronica obtained her Masters in education, teaching was her passion, and was a huge impact on the many little minds she had the privilege of teaching. Veronica had a contagious laugh, a heart of gold, always ready to lend a hand, or share a story. Veronica leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and unforgettable memories. Veronica is preceded in death by her parents; Armando C. and Judy S. Gonzalez, grandparents; Candelario M. and Esperanza Campos Gonzalez, Matias Siller and Beatrice Henderson. She is survived by her husband Johnny Rios, God daughter Nathalia Nicolette Gutierrez, sisters; Melissa G. (Eddie) Hernandez, Gieselle Gonzales (Herbie Martinez), Elita Gonzalez (Mike Elizardo), Esperanza Gonzalez (Abraham De Los Santos), Father and Mother In law; Fred and Aurora Mungia, Tony and Dottie Rios, David and Marie Rios Albert Rios (Tasha), Roger Rios (Amy) Veronica Rios, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other family members and dear friends. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 12, 2025, from 3:00 P.M. -8:00 P.M. with a prayer service at 6:00 P.M. On Wednesday, August 13, 2025, visitation will begin at 9:00 A.M. with a Chapel Service at 10:00 A.M. interment to follow at First Memorial Park Cemetery.
