Veronica Johnson, was a longtime resident of Schenectady. On December 19th, 2025, Veronica Johnson passed on to her eternal resting place.
Veronica was born August 20th 1955 to Ella Mae Johnson and Albert Lee Johnson Sr. She grew up in Albany and was a graduate of Mont Pleasent High School. Veronica was known best for her amazing home cooking, her love and abundance of jewelry, her great wit and her spirit. She lived her life with style, sass, love and light. Veronica cherished her family at home and the family she created in the hood. Everyone was welcomed at her house without judgement, whether they needed a place to stay or nice home cooked meal.
Veronica Johnson leaves behind her four wonderful children, Drea Lee Noble, Donald Lee Noble III, DeQuanna Lee Jackson, Dai'Quon Lee Johnson, her niece Alana, her goddaughter Eva, her godbrother Wesley, her four grandchildren Jasmine, Xavianna, Quajere, Dameek. As well as aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and countless loved ones.
Veronica was preceded in death by her parents Ella Mae Johnson and Albert Johnson Sr, along with her brother Albert Johnson Jr.
