Veronica was a lifelong resident of Pensacola, Florida born on July 24, 1959 to Lewis Herman Mayton and Eugengia Demoval Sheffield Mayton. Veronica was also known as Gail or Aunt Gail to those who knew and loved her. She loved being Aunt Gail to all the kids. She is preceded in death by her Father, Lewis Herman Mayton, by her brother Richard Joe Mayton, by her Mother, Eugengia Demoval Mayton and by her step niece Jennifer Elaine DeVille Brown. Survivors include her sister Jackie Lynn Mayton DeVille (Earnie), her brother John Thomas Mayton, her step nephew Christopher Scott DeVille and many great step nieces and nephews and many friends. Veronica has worked numerous positions in her lifetime. She has been a bartender and waitress at many establishments here in Pensacola, has worked in a nursing home, and last of which she worked at Goodwill on Nine Mile Road for many years. She also moved to Dallas, Texas for about a year before returning back home. She will be greatly missed by everyone! R.I.P. Gail
