Veronica Lynn Ryan

Veronica Lynn Ryan, age 60 of Long Beach, passed away on Friday, June 13, 2025.

She was preceded in death by her father, James Kaminski; and her son, Justin Ray Ryan.

Veronica is survived by her loving husband of 41 years, Harline Dewayne Ryan; her son, Daniel Eugene (Saralynn) Ryan; her daughter in law, Elizabeth Ryan; her grandchildren, Isabella Nicole Ryan, Emily Lynn Ryan, Harper Lynn Ryan and Grayson Ray Ryan; her mother, Francis E. Kaminski; her siblings, Margaret Kaminski, Bernadette Kaminski Abair, Ann Matthews and James “Jimmy” Kaminski, and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was born and raised in Harvey, Illinois, and in 1982 made the Mississippi Gulf Coast her home. It was there she met the love of her life, Dewayne, and they married in 1983, beginning a beautiful journey that spanned 41 cherished years.

She found joy in the simple pleasures of life—tending to her garden, nurturing her flowers, and filling her home with music she loved in all its forms. Her greatest joy, however, was her family. Her children and grandchildren were the heart of her world, and she loved them with all her being. Affectionately known as “Nana,” she was a constant source of love, warmth, and comfort in their lives.

She leaves behind a legacy of devotion, kindness, and a life well lived.
