Mrs. Mique Sheffield of Colquitt, GA, died Monday, December 29, 2025, at her residence. Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 2, 2026, at 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church Chapel in Colquitt with Rev. Harold Burrell and Rev. Craig Hartzog officiating. Interment will follow in the Colquitt City Cemetery with Randy Adams, Joe Sheffield, Rodney Bryan, Kevin Lovering, Eric Enfinger, Jule Powell, and Robin Cobb serving as active pallbearers. A visitation will be held one hour before the service, from 1:00 to 2:00 PM.

Mrs. Mique was born on February 4, 1945, in Winter Haven, FL. She was a homemaker, devoted to serving her family as a wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was faithfully devoted to her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, serving as a Sunday School teacher for 52 years and as a volunteer for Vacation Bible School. Mrs. Mique also formerly served as City Clerk for the City of Colquitt. 

She is survived by her husband, Glen Sheffield; three children, Glen Jr. (Amanda) Sheffield of Colquitt, GA, Glenda Smith of Colquitt, GA, and Pam Sheffield of Augusta, GA; seven grandchildren, Grant Sparks, Kristen Smith, Kimberly (Zane) Barley, Kayla Horne, Kelly Smith, Holden Sheffield, and Lily Sheffield; and four great-grandchildren, Colten Horne, John Michael Horne, Hunter Horne, and Brooklynn Barley. Mrs. Mique was preceded in death by her parents, Bo and Mabel Cobb; and two brothers, Winston Cobb and Phil Cobb.
