Veronica Linda Ware, 78

Veronica Linda Ware passed away on February 15, 2026. She was born on September 17,1947 to Howard and Gladys Johnson in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She met her husband, Arigar Ware, and they were married for over 37 years. She was a resident of Okeechobee for over 35 years. Veronica enjoyed sewing, crafting, fishing, and going to church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Gladys Johnson; sons, Cleveland Johnson and Jacob Baker; brother, Howard Johnson; and sister, Kaye Fields.

She is survived by her husband, Arigar Ware; sons, Vincent Daniels (Wanda), David Roberson (Shawantay), and Champ Ware; daughters, Sharline Holmes (Andre), Felicia Daniels, Shakinah Glory, Jennifer Baker, Sheldra Hinton (Alphonso), and Stephany Roberson; along with 30 grandchildren and 45 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until service at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 24, 2026 at the Buxton Okeechobee Funeral Home.
