Vesta and I took several Asbury youth choir trips together. Of course, see organized and lead them. When we were in DC another group of young kids who were deaf were near by and started using sign language while talking about different members of our group. They must have not said kind things. Vesta watched them a few minutes and then approached them and using very fast sign "spoke" to them. The kids had red faces and learned a lesson that the deaf aren't the only ones who know sign.
Vesta was a special lady.
