Tupelo-- Vickey Harris Lyle, 74, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 31, 2024, at her home in Tupelo. Born on July 31, 1949, in Baldwyn, Vickey was daughter of Carl B. Harris and Nora Mauvalene Wimbs Harris.
Vickey found joy and enrichment in her deep Christian faith, Elvis Presley’s music, and solving crossword puzzles. She proudly displayed her patriotism through her affection for the American flag, and delighted in the beauty of roses.
Above all, Vickey cherished her family, finding immense joy in every moment spent with her children, grandchildren, and her beloved dog, Dixie.
Vickey leaves behind her three children, Audrea Floyd of Tupelo, Marlina Jimenez (Jorge) of Tupelo, and Nora Jennifer Armenta (Mauricio) of Richmond; one sister, Carolyn Matthews of Plantersville; two brothers, Terry Harris of Tupelo and Joe Harris (Nannette) of Brewer; and her mother, Mauvalene of Plantersville.
She was preceded in death by her father, Carl B. Harris and one daughter, Ashley Nicole Morgan.
Visitation will be 2 until 5 p.m. Sunday, June 2, 2024 at Pegues, Tupelo.
A graveside service honoring her life will be 2 p.m. Monday, June 3, 2024 at Plantersville Cemetery with Bro. Tim King officiating.
Pallbearers will be Shawn White, Neal White, Jorge Jimenez, and Joe Harris.
