Vicki Lynn Barnhardt

Vicki Lynn Barnhardt, 56, of Kannapolis, passed away Tuesday, April 8, 2025 at her residence.

Vicki was born July 22, 1968, in Concord, North Carolina to the late Arthur Griffith Morris and the late Linda Marlene Clark.

Vicki was a ball of sunshine. She lit up every room she walked in. Vicki loved music, she was always singing and dancing. At a young age Vicki played softball, cheerleading and loved going skating. Once she became a Wife and Mother she would go on to coach their cheerleading and dance teams. Vicki was also an amazing cook. Everyone loved her cooking and she really enjoyed big family dinners where music was blasting and she’s cooking for everyone. Vicki and Her Husband David were entrepreneurs and had several businesses over the years. Vicki loved owning and running her bars and pool halls. She took pride in having a fun place for her friends and family could come and enjoy a good time. Vicki and David would also compete in pool tournaments and would win. Later in life they retired and decided to run an ice cream truck. Ice cream to the rescue was the name and she was so proud of her businesses. Vicki was loved by all her customers, the kids and adults would run up so excited to see Mrs Vicki. She took such pride and Joy in making all her customers smile. She also loved bringing her Grandchildren along to be her helpers. Vicki was an amazing Grandmother and was so proud of her grand babies. She loved being a Mamaw and spoiling them. Vicki had such a big heart and loved her family dearly. Her husband David was her protector and hero as she called him. Her kids were her world and she loved just spending time with her girls, going to the lake and going out on the boat with her family. Laying in the sun while rocking out to great music. She loved being at the pool, the lake or beach. She was our sunshine and will be tremendously missed.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Tuesday April 15, 2025, at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord. There will be a memorial service honoring Vicki's life at 1:00 pm on Wednesday April 16, 2025, at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord, which will be officiated by Pastor Chris Messina.

Survivors include her loving husband of 31 years David Barnhardt; Daughter Ashley Jones and spouse Ian Anderson; Daughter Aprille Moore and spouse Robbie Moore; Daughter Amber Jones and spouse Craig Liverpool; Daughter Codi Purvis and Son David Barnhardt Jr and spouse Brooke Barnhardt. Her Grandchildren, Gage Everette(Bubba); McKenna Ann; Greyson Lee; Ianley Belle; Karmyn Alexus; And her new babies to be Vada Lynn and Baby Lala

Her Sister Beth Stirewalt and spouse Mark Stirewalt; Nephew Danny Sutton and Niece Sabrina Sutton.

In leau of flowers donations can be sent to David or the family or dropped off at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord.
