Funeral service for Vicki Griffin, age 68 of Piedmont will be held 3pm Wednesday, June 25, 2025 at Glencoe Hokes Bluff Funeral Home. Roger Butler and Michael Chapman will be officiating the service. Burial will follow at Youngs Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12pm until time of service at the funeral home.
Ms. Griffin passed away on Sunday, June 22, 2025 at Gadsden Regional Medical Center.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Silvey and Nadine Barron; brother, Stanley Barron; sister-in-law-, Charlene Gladden; and ex-husband, Terry Griffin.
Left to cherish her memory are her son, Chad Griffin (Tiffany); daughter, Jennifer Griffin Locklear (Joseph); grandchild, Taylor Griffin; brother, Danny Barron; nieces, Amy Holder, Brandi Whalen (Moose); great-nieces and nephews, Jesse Stillwell (Josh), Logan Whalen, Lauren Jordan Garrett (Shay), Kayla Ford, and Luke Whalen; great niece and nephew, Kye and Willow Stillwell; special aunts, Geneva Butler, and Hazel Ann Haskin; special friends, Tina Pankey, Deborah St. John, Carolyn Nix-Hammett, Nancy Cross, Elaine Bowman, Andie Mewbourn, and Betty Garmany.
Vicki was of the Christian Faith. She graduated Hokes Bluff High School in 1975. She was the owner of Vicki Griffin Trucking and Co. LLC for 27 years. Vicki loved working in her flower beds, gardening, sewing, and spending time with her family.
Pallbearers will be Moose Whalen, Joseph Locklear, Josh Stillwell, Luke Whalen, Logan Whalen, and Terry Wayne Sims.
